Welcome To Ōwhango School

We are a three-teacher rural full primary school in Ōwhango, in the Ruapehu District.

Our school is  the centre of the local community and many of our locals are ‘Friends of the School’.

We are adjacent to the Tongariro Forest Park, Whakapapa River and the 42nd Traverse and only half an hour from Mount Ruapehu.
